Session 411

Effective January 2012, we have some new changes and I’m really excited about the shift we are going to make because I really feel like its a better way to serve our clients, to actually deliver a beautiful finished product that you can be excited about too!!  So The way I imagine our new process going is something like this:

-You book your session, either have an in person pre-session consultation or over the phone.  At this time I will learn more about your family so that I can learn about what will suit your needs the best. Also at this time is when the booking fee will be due (outlined below)

-We will meet, have a beautiful session.  If for any reason we have any mishaps (child not cooperating/having an off day, weather uncooperative, etc), we will reschedule, or reshoot at no extra charge.

-After your session, it will be about a week to two weeks (depending on the volume of work I have) and then we will schedule your in person ordering session to be held in your home (this way you can choose walls you might want to display the pictures on and I can help you determine a layout you might like).  This will be the time that your final order will be placed so please have all deciding members (grandparents, aunts, uncles etc) present at this ordering session. 

-I will submit your order, and depending on what products you have ordered I will have it to you in less than 2 weeks.

Our main goal is to capture moments, not just have your family or child sit there and say cheese until their cheeks hurt and they are sick of looking at our camera.

An ideal session for us is something like:  meeting you and your family at your home or in the park and capturing the moments and memories of your family playing, reading, flying a kite other things that you love to do as a family. Those are pictures you will cherish forever...of course I don't mind doing a few posed ones :) 

I get alot of questions from my clients when inquiring with us about a session on clothing and location. clothing ideas...I love sites like Urban Outfitters, Jcrew, Gap and American eagle! These sites have great inspiration for outfits

Location is up to you, this depends on the environment you want for your images...home? Park? Downtown? If there will be kids in the pictures I always bring a few props (of course feel free to bring your own too!) along to keep them interested.
